Bound in Ink, Born of Stars

Dia is an Inkbound — one of a unique race of people who can manipulate and use ink to make things come alive. Unfortunately her powers are weak compared to her peers. After taking a leap of faith to help a mysterious cartoon-like cat, she's plunged into an adventure spanning a vast multiverse, both trying to protect it from those who want to control it, and finding her real home within it.

'Dia' Willow Quinn

Female | Inkbound/Inkless Hybrid

Dia is a relatively quiet girl who is often eager to please others. She often gets very emotional when things don't go to plan, but if given enough time, she can pull through and figure things out.

A mix of half Inkbound, and half Inkless (human without inkbound powers), her Inkbound powers are far weaker than a pure blooded inkbound, and because of this, other inkbound either ignore her, or snub her. Despite this Dia desires to be respected, so as an adult she enrolled in the Inkbound Academy, hoping that she discovers some kind of technique that would help her to improve her abilities.

Crinkle

Male | Unknown

Crinkle is a rather mysterious cat-like being. Until he pops up, the concept of intelligent, non-human creatures are practically unheard of. Stranger still, he's made exclusively out of paper and ink.

While very nervous around humans initially, Crinkle eventually warms up, and is very friendly towards those he trusts. He never talks about his past however.

Cyrus Blackwell

Male | Inkbound

Cyrus Blackwell is the current owner of Blackwell Academy. While normally he is rather pleasant and charismatic towards aspiring Inkbound, he is not at all what he seems, and no one truly knows what he does behind closed doors.
